The Rio de Janeiro Culture
If you have not thought that Rio de Janeiro was a place with lots of cultural sights, should reconsider its decision. One of the main reasons why the Rio is a very cultural city is because only here you can find a high population density and rich ethnic mix that has shaped all kinds of artistic expression that can be found above all in music, dance and lifestyle of the Cariocas "" – well is how the inhabitants of Rio are called, especially during the famous Carnival. Here you can find a large number of cultural centers, theaters, art galleries host an ever-changing series of cultural events.
One of the city's most important scenes of movies, music, exhibitions and plays the Banco do Brasil Cultural Center, located at Rua Primeiro de Marco 66. As regards literature, Brazilian literature is not translated into English. Two famous novelist Jorge Amado and Paulo Coelho, the latter wrote "The Alchemist", which is considered a modern classic.
After all, Rio de Janeiro is not the beaches, the lovely ladies, night life, but also music, film, theater, performing arts, which can be found here in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.
