What do I have to do a live broadcast via the web, as well as a webcam?
I'm working on an art project where I do a life drawing every night.
You need a site where users can tune in. You need a decent communications line if you are running LIVE. T1 or higher. Again, this is for the live broadcast from your local PC. The need for a T1 or better is to provide bandwidth to multiple users simultaneously. However, if you are feeding a site with streaming video, so it can not be a problem at your site is probably already in a line T. Then lighting needs. Good lighting is essential for visual decent food. white lights are the best. Try to establish a white sheet and pointed strongly light directly. This will illuminate that wihtout-Effect of light spot and gives a good natural soft glow compared to a hard yellow .. And finally concentrated light, need large processing power to handle the capture (recording) and the transmitting power. I would say not less than one CPU 2gig. Do not use this porject Vista, Windows XP is fine as July.
