What is the difference between an SLR and a digital SLR camera?
I'm trying to buy a camera and do not know what the difference is between them?
SLR – Single Lens reflex. The camera has a system of mirrors and prisms to show exactly what is being seen through of the lens. At the time of taking the photo, the mirror moves out of the way, the shutter opens and the picture is taken. Digital SLR is an "SLR that records digital photos using a sensor instead of film. Rest everything is like a movie based on conventional 35mm SLR.
