Film camera for beginners?
I've been looking all over eBay and recently went to a swap shop in search of any film work (vintage-like) cameras. So my question is … a film camera would you recommend for a beginner?. (I've been looking but minolta I honestly do not know …) PS I prefer one that is moderately price and can offer as much as possible (quality equivalent to the price paid) Thanks! Someone mentioned my budget and I thought about it and I guess … up to $ 100 $ 150 maybe I'm willing to spend a little more if its value is REALLY
I'd recommend a crop 35 mm SLR (Single Lens Reflex). I have a Minolta SRT-101 and Minolta SR-1. Both are great cameras and I recommend that he had one of them. Have full manual exposure control (Set the aperture and shutter speed manually yourself) so you can learn more about basic photography, and have greater control and creativity photos. You can find a Minolta in good shape for quite cheap. Just look on eBay, Craigslist, antique shops, stores etc. Some cameras also with vintage cameras. If you want an old camera, I would also recommend a rangefinder camera. The Argus C3 is a good one for beginners. In fact one of my favorite 35mm cameras. It is very old and kind of heavy and square. But it is very solid and reliable. It also has full manual exposure control. You can find a cheap Argus C3. Look on eBay and thrift stores. I bought mine on eBay for about $ 10. They are great cameras though, and take sharp pictures very. We also recommend Matchmatic Argus C3. It is a variant of the C3. It is very similar, but has a slightly different body design.
