A few years ago, installing a touch screen monitor in the car was something that is seen in the movies or the Stooges, cars built Framed especially for science fairs. Now almost all new cars come with them factory installed or at least very easily be installed aftermarket. Through of these monitors, drivers can program your GPS navigation system, control your Bluetooth, and establish their entire stereo channels all with the touch of finger.

There are various methods to have these put in your car too. The most common two are an installation on the dashboard keeps the factory look the car. Then there's the set-up using a motorized panel frame sometimes off the board and then in an upright position and visible. Here is a step by step breakdown of how you can install a touch screen monitor in your car on you own.

• The first thing you need to do is take a look a dashboard of your car and see if you have a double DIN configuration or setup simple DIN. It's pretty easy to spot if you know what you are looking for. Double DIN installation for your car's dashboard allows you to set up a system monitor touch screen that is flush with the board. Single DIN installation not allow this and you have to install a monitor that displays.
• Make sure all the right tools to go along with the installation kit and wiring harness should have bought previously. Any place that sells car audio systems and installation services will provide these for sale. If your vehicle has an installation kit made for it, then roll up your sleeves, because you have much work ahead in the form of alterations in the script.
• Now you have to get underneath the hood of the car to disconnect the battery cables from the battery. You will need to re-size instruments adequate to take care of this.
• Take the old drive out the head. Depending on the brand of car, you'll probably have to remove some dash panels to do this. The old unit will be out there with the mounting screws. Take these out and stereo should slide right off the board. Once outside, disconnect all cables and the antenna of the same.
• Now that has all the old equipment from the car, start installing all new hardware and touch screen installation kit. Seat it securely in the kit so it will not slide out and break.
• Now that the monitor is ready to go in installation kit and ready to put back on the board, connect all cables from the car to preinstalled wiring harness and be attached to the touch screen monitor. Connect the audio / video monitor, and always check the user manual if you're not sure where it goes.
• Ok. You're all wired and ready to go. Now you have to install the monitor back on the dashboard. Of all the steps is the easiest as it is almost the last. Car Insurance tightening all the screws and replace board panels once you've finished doing that.
• Reconnect the battery cables back and start the car to test the monitor. If all has been no problems during installation, the display will light.
