Table Tripod
horizontal tripod recommendations?
I have to photograph a collection of old documents with my Canon digital SLR camera that will be on a flat table. I need a tripod to hold my camera above and parallel to the table.
You may be a Manfrotto 055XPROB Pro I think this is a great, reasonably priced tripod. That one is aluminum but there are a couple of the carbon filiment, and do not really notice much difference other than weight. The column Central is very easy to change from vertical to horizontal. You can get a package price on it and a Manfrotto 322RC2 Horizontal Grip Action Ball Head for about $ 257. I have Five heads, and that is my favorite!
