When the power comes back after his trip, why all the digital clocks at once at midnight?
I've been wondering this for awhile. Digital clocks all go back at 12:00 after an outage, not later, not before. Why?
Because it is your default configuration. They have no way of knowing what time it is, as they have no active memory without power. Some digital watches but can be enforced through some signal in the electrical grid which will make them automatically through a defined zone on the clock. I'm not 100% clear on that last part though.
