How do you change a halogen bulb? I can not get a grip, because the new bulbs have a glass shield.?

The old bulbs had no glass shield on the face and I could grasp the inner surface. Now the bulbs have the face plate and I can not even grip the cup black- I have for her.

Break it! (It is not good anyway) and then grab the center with a pair of pliers, then pull or turn him out is to sit. Hope this helps!
