hv I have a Canon A590 IS digital camera new, from the new craze for me, I'm using it regularly, have a choice of DC power input with AC Adapter ACK 800, also specified in the manual, I use it instead of using batteries or cells. My photographer says it is not safe to use AC adapters since the waves can cause damage to your mother. Plz me guide.
While you are using the EXACT adapter called in the owner's manual, you should be fine. If in doubt call the support number in the manual. (Waves do not damage the electronics, you just inject a small amount of noise. Surges and spikes from damaging the electronics)
