Why is my video from my Nikon Cool Pix download to my computer?
Why is my video from my Nikon Cool Pix download to my computer? Treatment Nikon and the window closes when it is supposed to download. So I tried it, took some photos, and pictures will be downloaded to your computer. The video is not yes. I tried using Windows software. But stops in the middle of the download. Thanks for trying to help, I appreciate it.
They may be downloaded, but not in a format recognized by your computer. Some digitals use a proprietary movie format, or an unusual format, which requires a separate program for play, and without it you see "normally" on the computer (ie can not perform the file is the video.) The most common is a format mov., Which requires Quicktime to view. If you do not have Quicktime installed, I suggest you download and see if that solves your problem. If not, try posting a question in the forums for help or calling nikonusa.com the number of Nikon's technical support for further assistance.

I am willing to experiment with wide-angle photography, but rather not spend too much money if I can help (but you can spend it if it ensures quality). When I bought my first Canon Digital Rebel, I spent so much time working on the choice of target as it did on whether to buy a Canon or a Nikon. And believe me, there are many, many lenses to choose from.
Here's my take on the choice of target. If you have a lot of money, achieve several goals to cover the wide range of shooting possibilities. You will need a wide angle for landscapes, a medium range lens for things like portraits and street scenes, and a telephoto to capture distant objects. Oh, and also want to get a dedicated macro lens to shoot the delicate flowers and butterflies.
Again, if money is not important, definitely get Canon "L" lenses. They are the Cadillac of Canon lenses. The "L" lens is the glass and the best technology Canon has to offer.
However, if you're on a budget, you'll want to consider getting a lens that can cover a multitude of situations photo. There are some excellent choices for a general "walk" lens, and not all of them are made by Canon. Tamron and Sigma make lenses for Canon and other brands cameras, and have some great lenses, too.
Here is a short list of the walk around large lens options:
Tamron AF 28-75mm f2.8 XR Di Zoom – this is a great lens if you plan to take lots of photos of the family. The zoom range is somewhat limited, but Image quality is excellent. You get a length of roughly 75 mm which is made with 55mm kit, though it lacks a little on the wide end at 28 mm instead of 18 mm lens kit. You also get f/2.8 which means super-fast shooting situations, and better pictures in low light situations because the lens allows more light hits the sensor. user reviews for this goal in FredMiranda.com are very high at 8.5 out of 10 for a lens off the mark (fredmiranda users tend to be brand snob).
Tamron AF18-250mm F/3.5-6.3 Di-II LD Aspherical (IF) Macro – This is a fantastic option if you plan to buy only a target. The 18mm wide-angle is good for the 250mm telephoto landscape and takes you right next to almost anything. No need to change lenses and lose that opportunity to take pictures. FredMiranda.com users have rated this one 8.3 out of 10, which is pretty good for a lens off the mark. It is available for Canon and Nikon.
Canon EF 28-135mm f/3.5-5.6 IS Image Stabilizer USM Autofocus Lens – Canon has been the promotion of this objective because the kit lens on some of their cameras. It is a walk around the lens thin, giving high quality images and a fairly large zoom range (about 5 times). Autofocus is very fast, and IS (Image Stabilizer) is quite useful especially in low light when the shutter speed slowed down to offset of light. You can survive without a tripod in most situations, because of the IS.
If you are buying your first DSLR camera, consider getting the body only and substituting one of these lenses for the kit lens. These lenses all sell for less than $500, which in the world of good quality camera lenses is quite attractive. Buying a great walk around lens for your new DSLR is an important step. The basic idea in the plastic molding is inserting molten plastic fluid in a mold as a list, for example, the mold a bottle. It will be then allowed to cool, then the mold is removed to reveal the plastic bottle.

1. Injection Molding
In injection molding, molten plastic is forced into a mold cavity. Once cooled, the mold can be removed. This plastic molding process is commonly used in mass production or prototypes of a product. Injection molding machines were made in the 1930s. These can be used to mass produce toys, kitchen utensils, bottle caps, and a cell phone is to name some.
2. Blow Molding
Blow molding is like plastic injection molding except that hot liquid spilled from a barrel vertically in a cast tube. The mold closes on it and forces it outward to fit the shape of the mold. When cooled, the hollow part is formed. Examples of molding products blown bottles, tubes and containers.

3. Compression molding

Insertion of a small amount of nitrogen or chemical blowing agent in the plastic material makes the walls thicker. Foam happens as the molten plastic material enters the mold cavity. It forms a thin plastic skin and solidifies in the mold wall. This type of plastic molding can be used with any thermoplastic that can be molded by injection.
8. Thermoforming
In this process of plastic molding, plastic sheeting rigid horizontal before extrusion is heated and sucked down hole tools in one piece. When the hot plastic solidifies, its shape fits the mold.
